Brigitte Derks was born on 5 December, 1966 in Amsterdam. After her studying variety art and ballet in the Nel Roos Academy, she worked a lot as a choreographer and stage director’s assistant.

Since 1987 till present Brigitte Derks works with the greatest and the most famous directors and producers on numerous musicals, TV shows and films – in Netherlands and Belgium.

Brigitte Derks has a long-term experience of work in different productions, the list of her main works in theatre on TV and in cinema is below .

In the musical “Cats” she played Demeter, Jellylorum, Bombalurina, Cassandra, Tantomile, in the musical “Chicago” - Velma Kelly & Annie. Took parts in production of musicals “Tanz der Vampire”, “Cats”, “Chicago”, “Kiss Me Kate”, “Evita”, “West Side Story”, “Peter Pan”, "Ladies night", “Les Miserables”, “Snowwhite”, “Jekyll & Hyde”, etc..

In 1992 she played part of Joyce in Jan Verheyen film“Boys”.
