Matt Daw
Light designer

Matt studied at The Central School of Speech and Drama graduating in 2006 with a 1st Class (Hons) Degree in Theatre Practice Lighting Design.

Among his productions as light designer can be mentioned “Pam Ann - Flying High” in Vaudeville Theatre, West End.  As associate lighting designer:  “Shrek:   The   Musical”, Theatre Royal Drury Lane, West End; “The Railway Children”, Waterloo Station, London; “Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story” and “Ich Will Spass”, Colosseum Theater, Essen; “Ich War Noch Niemals in New York”, Operettenhaus, Hamburg and “Tanz der Vampire” at the  Palladium Theater,  Stuttgart. As assistant lighting designer: “Mamma Mia!”, Artscape Opera House, Cape Town; “Tanz Der Vampire”, Metronom Theater, Oberhausen; “Aida”,  “Hair” and “Carmen Cubana: Musical  Sommer”,  Amstetten, “Chicago” and “The Drowsy Chaperone”, in London’s West End.

Matt also works extensively as a lighting programmer and has toured the world operating concerts for several bands.
