Mark was trained at the Conservatory of Vienna, the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute New York City and had the privilege to be awarded a scholarship for the Royal Academy of Music in London.
He performed in WEST SIDE STORY (Bregenz Festival /Austria), was Willard in FOOTLOOSE, Pygar in the world premiere of Dave Stewart’s BARBARELLA (Vienna), Tybalt in ROMEO & JULIA (Vienna) and Radames in Elton John’s & Tim Rice’s AIDA (Germany).
In the german premiere of WICKED Mark starred as Fiyero . He created the role of Ranger in the world premiere of the musical DER SCHUH DES MANITU (Berlin) which is based on one of Germany’s most successful movies and was Galileo in WE WILL ROCK YOU (Berlin & Stuttgart, Germany). Over four years he played the role of Death (Tod) in ELISABETH in Germany, Austria and Shanghai. 2013/14 he starred as Jesus in JESES CHRIST SUPERSTAR in Germany and played the role of Lancelot in the world premiere of Frank Wildhorn’s ARTUS – EXCALIBUR in Switzerland.
In Viennas musical success MOZART he was the count COLLOREDO before he played the legendary GRAF VON KROLOCK in TANZ DER VAMPIRE (Berlin).
Recently he‘s playing the role of EMANUEL SCHIKANEDER in Vienna‘s musical SCHIKANEDER. .
Apart from his theatre career Mark is very proud of his three solo cds „Musicalballads Unplugged“, „With You“ and „...so far“.
