Honored actress of Russia

She was born in Kemerovo. In 1981-1983 she was studying in preparatory department attached to Gorkov state conservatory named after M.I. Glinka, in 1988 graduated from this conservatory, class of solo singing (pedagogue V. Voronova). In the same year she was taken to Yekaterinburg state theatre of musical comedy. In 1992-1994 worked in State theatre of musical comedy of Belarus Republic (Minsk). Then she again came back to Yekaterinburg theatre in which performed until 1997. In the same year after debut in the part of Silva in the operetta by I. Kalman “The gipsy princess” she was invited to Saint-Petersburg theatre of musical comedy.

Then she performed the following roles: Silva and Odetta (“Silva” and “Bayadere” by I. Kalman), Queen and Baroness (“Bluebeard” and "Parisian Life" by J. Offenbach),  Madlen (“My dear friend!” by V. Lebedev), member of the ensemble of tango-show “Dreams about tango”, Duchess (“The Bird seller” by C. Zeller), Hansy Gruber ("Spring Parade" R. Stolz), Lilli Vanessi ("Kiss me, Kate!" C. Porter).

Nowadays in the repertoire of actress there are following parts: Hanna Glawari (“The merry widow” by F. Lehar), Angilda and Theodora (“Silva”, “Mister X” by I. Kalman), Marquise Pompadour (“Madame Pompadour” by L. Fall), Nina ("Sevastopol waltz" K. Listov),  Rosalinda (“The Bat” by J. Strauss"), Dunyasha («Womanish revolt» E. Ptichkin), Pommaria ("Ten brides and no groom" F. Zuppe), Maria ("Summer of love" by L.Lajtai), Empress («Bely. Petersburg.» by G. Firtich).

She is laureate of All-Russian competition of actors of operetta and musical (Omsk, 1991), laureate of All-Union (SNG) International competition of actors of operetta and musical (Moscow, 1992).

In 2005 S.E. Lugova was awarded with honorable title “Honored artist if Russia”.

In 2008 for part of Marquise Pompadour in operetta by L. Fall "Madame Pompadour" she was given the Highest theatre Saint-Petersburg award "Golden Sofit" in nomination "Best female part in operetta".

In 2009 by Order of President of Russian Federation she was rewarded with Order Medal “For achievments to Native land” of II degree.
