On June 28-30, the Musical Comedy Theater and the Gatchina State Museum will present the fourth Operetta Park festival. As part of the open-air festival on the territory of the Gatchina Museum-Reserve, the musical fantasy “The Count of Luxembourg” on the theme of the classic operetta by Franz Lehár and a gala concert with the participation of stars of the best operetta scenes in Russia and neighboring countries will be shown.
For the first time in the history of the festival, one of the shows - the piquant vaudeville "Knock-Knock" to the music of V. Shpachek - will be held in the theater hall of the Gatchina Palace. It is this one of the theatre’s most popular chamber projects, awarded the Russian National Theater Award “Golden Mask”, that will open the festival on June 28. Following him, on June 29, the heroes of the operetta “The Count of Luxembourg” will appear on a large stage near the walls of the legendary palace of Paul I - a musical fantasy on the theme of the play, twice awarded the Highest Theater Award “Golden Sofit” in acting categories, and which was applauded by the audience in Sevastopol and Petrozavodsk, Riga and Bucharest. The final chord of the festival on June 30 will be a Gala concert of operetta stars, which traditionally represents all the best that has been created in this sunny genre over the past century and a half.

And, of course, we are revealing some of the secrets of the festival cuisine for new festival spectators: on the Silver Meadow behind the large palace, located in the picturesque park of the Gatchina Nature Reserve, we will build a large stage area and a spectator amphitheater especially for the festival. This will be a single complex in which everything is serious, like in a real theater: a stage for artists and musicians, huge screens for video projections, several tons of lighting and sound equipment, numbered rows of spectators and even ushers, but still - “not like in a theater” .

Real professionals in their field take part in the shows - the team of the Musical Comedy Theater, whose artists regularly take first place in all professional competitions, and whose productions receive the highest awards at theater awards. The Operetta Park festival takes place in the capital of the Leningrad region - the city of Gatchina at the address: Krasnoarmeysky Ave. 1. You can get to the festival site near the Grand Palace by public transport: by train from the Baltic Station; by bus No. 18 and 18A from the station. m. Moskovskaya.
