PERFORMANCE ON THE "BOOK ALLEYS"The first performance of fragments of the premiere musical "The Captains Daughter" by Andrey and Olga Petrov, lyrics and a recitation program - in the year of the 225th anniversary of the birth of A.S. Pushkin, the theater presented a concert dedicated to the genius of Russian literature. The Musical Comedy Theater stands at the origins of public performances of the city project "Book Alleys". Over the years, in the open air on Malaya Konyushennaya Street, the theater performed both classics and musicals, presented new plays and introduced new artists, digests of fresh premieres and a potpourri of hits loved by the audience. The unusual format of performances at arm's length was loved by both artists and spectators, who steadfastly endure all the surprises of the St. Petersburg weather. This year, the highlight of the concert was the presentation of the theater's first major project: the musical "The Captains Daughter" by Andrey and Olga Petrov, the premiere of which is scheduled for September 26. The concert featured Polina Belyaeva, Maria Melnikova, Irina Mulyarchik, Roman Vokuev, Maxim Kazakov, Vyacheslav Ryazanov. The "Theatre Petersburg on Book Alleys" project is held with the active participation of the "House of Books" and the "Theater+" magazine.
